The Vents d’Anges estate, enclosed originally by its own vineyards, has evolved from the beginning of the 18th century, and been handed down from generation to generation in the YECHE family. Today, after extensive restoration, Carine and Francis enjoiy showing their guests the various buildings comprising the estata, all of wich reflect the history and architecture of the region.
The house, the pigeon tower and the barn, construted with the locally quarried white stone of the Tarn during the last three centuries, are each an example of the charm of the whole 15 hectare property, which itself includes 10 hectares of woodland. It is the enormous barn (attached to, but independant of the house) that has been totally restored – although preserving much of its original character – to provide the bedrooms, together witch a common room, for guests. The surrounging garden and the swimming pool, situated between the bedrooms and the woodland, are an open-air invitation to moments of leisure and relaxation.
